Opening Reception and Benefit for the Edible Schoolyard Project

Date: Sat, April 18, 2015

Hours: 7–9pm

Location: Boiler Room SF

Cost: $65 benefiting the Edible Schoolyard Project
A limited number of tickets will be available at the door for $75.

We’re thrilled to be hosting Carla Fernández: Design Culture Mexico. It’s a month-long exhibit and US launch of her full collection in our Boiler Room, curated by Renee Zellweger of Summerschool.

On April 18, from 7–9 pm, join us for an exciting, feel-good celebration and benefit where you’ll have the opportunity meet Carla, Pedro Reyes, and other artists from Mexico, preview the show, and shop Carla’s inaugural US collection—all while doing some real good.

Our benefit supports one of our favorite organizations—the Edible Schoolyard Project—and its programs in Mexico City. Funds raised will support SaludArte's mission to provide free daily meals, art classes, nutrition education, and physical activities to more than 20,000 students in Mexico City's most marginalized communities.

Sample wine from Belden Barns, sip tequila from Casa Dragones and nosh on some light food from Los Cilantros, and immerse yourself in Mexican culture, courtesy of music from DJs Club Unicornio.

We'd love for you to join us to celebrate amazing artists, a fascinating culture, and an inspiring cause. Be a part of something big.
